Beautiful Black, Violet, Gold Garments. Beautiful elaborate sewn Communion motif decorations on this Cope and Stole set. The material of the garment is made of heavy silk fabric and fully lined.  No makers label. Purchased in collectors estate. This is very dramatic. It is really a statement piece and my pictures don't do the piece justice. This has two stoles with it. One shorter and the longer one seen in first photo. There is a white cotton piece to line the neck on the longer stole. Note the brass stamped clasp. It looks Victorian era to me but I'm having trouble dating all the piece's due to no tags...at least approx. 1940's or earlier I believe.

This would make a wonderful display. Or wear as a costume. Excellent condition but please note, the piece as with others I found were all kept in a trunk for years so a light straightening or airing would be a suggestion.
