A fun and unique wooden carving of a Viking, Norwegian skier (without his pole).

An estate purchase so I don't have a lot of history on the piece. The previous owner loved early carvings from Norway and Sweden and was her self Scandinavian.

This I would guess to be a mid-century piece, perhaps 60's. Signed on the bottom of one sky in ink. The craftsman may have been from Minnesota. Fun and wonderful idea for a gift to a loved one or your Scandinavian collection.

The viking skier is in a very good condition and I see no damages, other than again, his pole is missing. At least that is what I believe to be at then end of the outstretched arm.
