Late 19th century large handturned wooden bowl. Believed to be made of Birch. Likely used for serving food, this has been kept in wonderful condition throughout the years. As-found in a collectors estate with other early Scandinavian wooden objects. This has a thinness to it suggesting fine craftsmanship and notably turned on a treadle lathe. The charm of this bowl would be the highlight of any table or kitchen cabinet.
