It's unusual to find a larger late 19th
century hooked rug that is this dynamic visual and so well
cared for. Fabulous red/pink rose garden with variegated
green leaf pattern.
On the border is fashioned what appear as jewels and a
striking black background that adds further interest to the
overall appearance of the rug.
This is in untouched still vital condition. It does
show some minor pulled hooks and some wear to backside.
