This is a wonderful find! A labor of love and very striking. My best guess, made in the 1950s do to the family members in estate purchase. Hopeful the fabric will define the era. It's hard for me to tell if this is hand stitched or machine, but a beautiful creation of patchwork design! The colors are rich and dark and so appropriate for any Season. I enjoyed researching the details of how these piece's were cut out and pieced together - you can tell the hard work behind the piece.

Suitable for a throw or smaller bed, this quilt measures approx. 55" x 64" and would look beautiful on a sofa or even as a wall hanging. Overall, it looks to be in amazing condition. Stored with other great textiles and sold in a family estate.
