FBI agent Melvin Purvis had brought John Dillinger and
Pretty Boy Floyd to justice before going on to host the 'Junior
G-Men' radio show in the mid 1930s. The program club in the 1st
year was titled "Junior G-Man Corps" and 2nd year "Law And Order
Patrol".. This was sponsored by Post Toasties. They offered
about 8 different premiums badges during that time. Here is a
'Secret Operator' Melvin Purvis Law and Order Patrol .... Girls
Division ... pin. Extremely nice condition for the age.
Measuring approx. 2" wide in brass with black and gold
lettering. No damage. Fun collectible to add to your vintage
collection.
This is part of many fun badges, official radio premium items
and icons of the era, all from the wonderful estate of a
collector. Keep and eye out on other items I will be sharing.
