Paper Mache Peasant doll family, set of
three. All have the notable exaggerated facial features that
are hand painted. Believed to date to the 1950s, early
1960s.
Almost have the appearance of gourds. The clothing appears
hand made as well. The sandals are leather.
Measures approx. 12” tall (mom), 9.5" (daughter), 11" (dad)
Mom shos the lace around her dress has a small separation
from dress, can be easily re-attached. Dad and daughter have
open mouths that appear to be some type of seed.
